Under the guidance of the Party Committee of the Faculty of Science and the guidance of the Youth League Committee of the Faculty of Science, the Student Union of the Faculty of Science formed the "Xingzhi Team" with a total of 5 members, going to the countryside for summer social practice activity. The team is guided by Ms. Chen Ting. On July 10, the five team members visited Xibaipo, Jinan Liberation Memorial Hall, Luoba Office, and Du Fengrui Martyr Memorial Hall respectively, learning the patriotic spirit of unity, dedication, fearlessness and bravery of revolutionary martyrs.

In the theme activity of "be a good successor and follow the party forever", everyone listened to the history of the party during the journey, felt the red culture while walking, accepted the baptism of the red spirit while studying, reviewed the great achievements of the older generation of revolutionaries, revisited the great history of the Communist Party of China,  felt the history with heart, and gathered the strength to forge ahead.

The red spirit carried by the red culture has inspired generations of Chinese people to strive for their ideals and beliefs, and to continue to write a more magnificent red chapter for the Chinese dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. The team members deeply felt the revolutionary spirit of daring to sacrifice and selfless dedication forged by their ancestors in the difficult years of blood and fire. They felt that they must integrate the fine traditions and spirit of the revolution into themselves, establish the idea of long-term hard work for the party and the people, and maintain Strong revolutionary will and tough revolutionary character.

Through this practical activity, the team members said: in the future study and life, we will strictly demand ourselves, strive to do our job well, study actively, realize our own value, carry forward the fine traditions of the Communist Party of China, enhance the sense of responsibility,  seek truth and be pragmatic. As young people in the new era, we must use the lofty ideals and fighting spirit of revolutionary martyrs to cleanse our minds and elevate our realm. We must follow the example of the martyrs, carry forward the spirit of heroes, never forget our original aspirations, continue to move forward, and strive for life to realize the Chinese dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
